Google Chrome Canary
What is Google Chrome Canary? (from Google Inc)
Google Chrome Canary has the newest of the new Chrome features. Canary is designed for developers and early adopters, and can be prone to breakage. Canary changes and gets new features almost every day. To aid development and testing, Canary and Chrome Stable can run at the same time.
Overview
Google Chrome Canary is a software program developed by Google Inc. The most common release is 68.0.3430.0, with over 14% of all installations currently using this version. It adds registry entry for the current user which will allow the program to automatically start each time it is rebooted. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named chrome.exe. The setup package generally installs about 7 files and is usually about 356.93 MB (374,272,295 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows 10. While about 28% of users of Google Chrome Canary come from France, it is also popular in MA and DZ.
